Many dogs find the grooming experience challenging. Here at The Funky Foxhound, we use modern, science-based behaviour change strategies to help your dog overcome their grooming troubles. Contact us to find out more.

Please note: we are not currently accepting new clients. On the occasion that a place does become available, clients with a veterinary behaviourist or trainer referral will be prioritised.

Stuart & Bishop

"We started working with Emma as part of our bordoodle, Bishop's, care for heightened anxiety. We couldn't be more grateful that we did. Bishop was terrified of grooming and reacted aggressively to the noise of clippers and scissors. He was also exhibiting a lot of behaviours that were creating the fear that we wouldn't be able to keep him.
Emma's ability to connect with bishop, to recognise his communication signals, use her cooperative care skills and to calmly work with him into feeling safe within the grooming environment is truly exceptional. Bishop now bounds in to see her and is able to engage with her for up to an hour in some cases. He is such a different dog, who is now able to engage at all levels with his family. We can't thank you enough, Emma."
